Brockville’s 2025 New Year’s Eve Concerts in Historic Downtown Churches announces the live musical performances for its 34th annual concert series!

The Volunteer Committee for the New Year’s Eve Concerts in the Downtown Churches announces that the 34th annual concert series will once again be happening live and in person on December 31, 2025.

 The participating churches in 2025 have opened their sanctuaries free of charge and are located within walking distance of each other. 

The concerts provide a wonderful opportunity, not only to hear fabulous music, but to view the amazing architecture at St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Wall Street United Church, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, St. John’s United Church (Arts Hub Brockville), First Presbyterian Church, and First Baptist Church. Brockville and the surrounding area are home to remarkable musical talent, and many performers return year after year to the delight of concertgoers. 

There are several exciting new acts joining the 2025 lineup, including David Van Vliet, The Applebees, Steve Bell, Mark Bergman, Kathleen Howard, and Iryna Aliaksandrava. 

“There is an incredible breadth of talent in our region, and it is exciting to offer these live concerts on New Year’s Eve. 

We are also blessed with many visitors from Ottawa, Kingston and the surrounding areas who arrive to see their favourite acts, and are able to enjoy many new ones,” says Rebecca Bredin, Chair of the NYE Concerts Committee. 

“We are thankful to have incredible performers donating their time and talent, as well as being pleased to support local heritage, charities, and the community for this annual event.” The musical acts featuring performers in a wide variety of genres, will be taking place starting at 6 PM and the last concert starts at 11:15 PM on New Year’s Eve. All concerts are free, however freewill donations will be accepted at the churches, with all monies received to be directed to local charities selected by the churches.
