The Volunteer Centre of St. Lawrence-Rideau is a non-profit charity that has been serving the community for 37 years. The organization plays a vital role in building community capacity by providing leadership opportunities and connecting volunteers with non-profit organizations and community events. Through the volunteer experience, the Volunteer Centre fosters a sense of belonging and inclusion for individuals in the community.

The Volunteer Centre directly or indirectly impacts up to 10,000 citizens in Leeds Grenville through its work with agencies and individuals. They also provide assistance to over 2,000 families by offering access to government funds through their Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, which helps alleviate poverty.

The Volunteer Centre supports over 30 non-profit organizations in Leeds Grenville by promoting volunteerism, recruiting and referring volunteers, and providing education and networking support to both agencies and individuals. As a member agency of the United Way of Leeds Grenville, the Volunteer Centre focuses on impacting strong communities through community engagement.
