Founded by Pattie with a passion for closing the reading gap in our community, we specialize in evidence-based literacy instruction that meets learners exactly where they are in their journey. From eager preschoolers taking their first steps into the world of words, to school-age students who need targeted support, to adults ready to unlock new opportunities through improved reading skills – we serve learners of all ages with personalized, compassionate instruction.

Pattie brings exceptional expertise to every learning experience, holding a Developmental Services Worker Diploma (DSW) and a Communicative Disorders Assistant post-graduate diploma with honours (CDA). With over 23 years of experience in speech therapy and now licensed as a Master Reading Teacher with the Remediation Plus Systems, she combines deep clinical knowledge with specialized literacy training. This unique background allows Curran Reading Corner to address not just reading challenges, but the underlying communication and developmental factors that impact learning success.
