About
The Brockville and District Hospital Foundation (BDHF) is a charitable organization that supports the mission of the Brockville General Hospital (BGH) in providing an excellent patient experience. The foundation is the result of the amalgamation of the Brockville General Hospital Foundation and The St. Vincent De Paul Hospital Foundation, which came together in May 2007.
The BDHF works tirelessly to enhance healthcare services and facilities at the Brockville General Hospital. They strive to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care by supporting various initiatives and projects. The foundation plays a crucial role in fundraising efforts to secure the necessary resources for the hospital’s ongoing development and improvement.
Services:
• Fundraising: The BDHF organizes fundraising events and campaigns to generate financial support for the Brockville General Hospital. These funds are used to enhance medical equipment, facility upgrades, research initiatives, and other vital programs.
• Donor Stewardship: The foundation values its donors and works diligently to cultivate strong relationships with them. They provide stewardship to donors, keeping them informed about the impact of their contributions and expressing gratitude for their support.
• Volunteer Board: The BDHF is governed by a volunteer board consisting of 14 community leaders who provide guidance, direction, and stewardship for all donations made to the foundation. These board members contribute their expertise and knowledge to ensure effective management and utilization of funds.
