Thousand Islands Foundation for the Performing Arts, operating as Playhouse Islands Playhouse in Gananoque, produces professional theatre that entertains, engages and inspires audiences, resonating locally and throughout communities in Eastern Ontario. The Playhouse produces works, both Canadian and International, with emphasis supporting new Canadian playwrights and emerging theatre artists with both contemporary and classic productions. We believe that participation in arts activities engenders a vibrant society. As such we foster partnerships with other organizations in order to contribute to the economic, social and cultural well-being of our region.
